Audubon Naturalist Society, Chevy Chase, MD:  Interested in a challenging and rewarding job outdoors this summer? Do you enjoy working with children of all ages exploring nature, doing "hands on" environmental education, and having old fashioned camp fun?  The Audubon Naturalist Society (ANS) seeks highly motivated and creative individuals for the 2015 Camp Audubon season. Camp Audubon offers day and overnight programs for children ages 4-17. Camps are based at our beautiful nature sanctuary in Chevy Chase, MD, minutes from our nation's capital. General Schedule and Position Descriptions:  Interns assist teachers/naturalists at Camp Audubon and progress to planning and leading lessons by the end of summer. Paid training, great experience, and resume building opportunity. Internship is a 10 week, full-time summer internship. Training starts June 13 and camp ends August 19.  Eight positions available. We provide a $2000 stipend for the summer. (No housing available).
Requirements: Applicants must have a high school degree; Experience working with children; Basic knowledge of natural history/biology; Must love working outside; CPR/First Aid/AED certification (provided by ANS).
