FutureMakers (www.kidsmakethingsbetter.com) is a team of maker education coaches - architects, engineers, computer scientists, artists and designers - who develop and coach original hands-on design, art and creative technology in elementary and middle schools and community programs in greater DC and Baltimore.
We have immediate openings for Lead Coaches and Coaching Assistants in our makerspace workshops in the Greater DC area, including Washington DC, Montgomery County, Fairfax, Arlington and Prince Georges County. Lead Coaches develop and facilitate original hands-on maker education workshops that focus on invention, materials, tools, and creative technologies. Coaching assistants work alongside lead coaches in support of maker education workshops. We are seeking individuals with youth development experience - as a counselor, program assistant, or youth leader - and an interest in building, inventing or exploring creativity, STEM and STEAM.
