Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference
Students needed!

 

American University’s Office of Sustainability is collaborating with the University of Maryland to host a student summit alongside the Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference. The second annual Smart and Sustainable Campuses Student Summit will take place on March 26, 2017.

This is a large event that takes a lot planning, and we would love for a few UMD students to join us in preparation for the summit! Below are a few areas in which we could use assistance. You can preference how you contribute by task or time commitment.

So far, we have:

• Digital Marketing/social media
• Attendee recruitment
• On-site room monitoring
• Planning the “alternative” room with art, wellness, or creative endeavors

This is a great opportunity to gain leadership experience and event organization skills while building regional relationships. Please let us know if you are interested in helping out in any one of the responsibilities listed above, and we’ll set up a time to chat - sustainability@american.edu

Even if you can’t help out, they hope to see you as an attendee or presenter at the Student Summit.
