JEAN-MICHEL COUSTEAU has risen to the international environmental conservation stage through his work in advocacy, education, exploration, and filmography. Inspired by his father, ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau, Jean-Michel founded the Ocean Futures Society in 1999 and serves as its President and Chairman of the Board. Complementing this "Voice for the Ocean," the Emmy Award-winning producer has created over 80 films regarding the conservation and preservation of the planet's oceans and marine resources. Named the White House's Environmental Hero in 1998, Jean-Michel has distinguished himself as a collaborator, educator, and leader in the environmental conservation movement
