WATERSHED RESTORATION INTERNSHIP

The South River Federation, a local watershed monitoring and restoration non-profit organization based in Edgewater, Maryland, is seeking one paid intern for the Summer of 2017 (May – August, start/end dates negotiable). This is a field-based position focused on watershed issues, restoration, and habitat management, and involves outdoor work in challenging conditions. The Federation is seeking candidates who have knowledge and experience in ecology, ichthyology/fisheries studies, conservation landscaping, stormwater and hydrology, and/or habitat restoration. We are seeking a diverse set of candidates who can aid the Federation in implementing our mission.
