Several "HOT" Listings

Student Conservation Association (SCA)

The SCA is still listing several "HOT" internships for the summer 2017 season, including:
  • Backcountry Permit - Office Intern, Yellowstone National Park, WY
  • River Recreation Intern, Klamath National Forest, Happy Camp, CA
  • Seneca Rocks Discovery Center - Visitor Services and Interpretation, WV
  • Trail Crew Intern, Crater Lakes National Park, OR
  • Water Systems Mapping and Documentation Intern, Fort Mill, SC
  • Your Park! Your Health! Gateway National Recreation Area, Staten Island, NY (local candidates only; no housing provided)
  • ... and about 50 others!

The SCA generally provides housing, uniforms, training, a small stipend ($85/week), reimbursement for travel to- and from-, and a post-internship educational grant ($1500).  Go here for more information For hints about how to make a successful application, go here.  It's a great way to start your conservation career!
