Fall internship opportunity
United Nations Foundation: Energy Access and Climate Team

In support of the energy, climate and environment climate team, the intern may:
  • Assist the Energy Access Practitioner Network with deliverables, meeting notes and other logistics, potentially focusing on the development of a Practitioner Network annual survey report;
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Practitioner Network’s website, including uploading content, collating materials for the monthly newsletter, upkeep of social media channels, and other communications needs;
  • Help with the sign-up process for new members, including outreach and direct communications where needed;
  • Support staff by preparing background materials and conducting research as necessary, including efforts around the health clinic electrification initiative and clean energy mini-grids;
  • Assist with managing program data, including contacts, materials, records, etc.;
  • Help with climate-related research and drafting;
  • Represent UNF at energy and climate-related events and take notes;
  • Support the development of proposals, comprehensive program materials, and letters of inquiry;
  • Provide administrative and event management support as needed; and
  • Other duties as assigned.
