Join the AOSC Department at UMD for a screening of the groundbreaking documentary "Chasing Coral", followed by a panel discussion at 10:30 with Jeff Orlowski, the film’s director, Mark Eakin, a coral reef expert from the film, and Thomas Ackerman, a climate expert, who will answer questions about the impact of climate change on coral reefs and mitigation solutions. The panel will be moderated by Rachel Pritzker, a philanthropist and advocate. This panel wants to engage the UMD community in a discussion that will inspire meaningful change.
