Winter Break Reminders & Resources

FINAL GRADES AND YOUR GPA–  Fall 2023 grades are being posted, and your unofficial transcript will reflect your final grades. Cumulative credits and GPAs are set and are updating live on academic records (also see: GPA CALCULATOR).

SPRING INTERNSHIP PROPOSALS are due February 9.  Read more about earning credit for ENSP386 here.

If you have REGISTRATION OR SCHEDULING ISSUES, please work with the Registrar, the Office of Extended Studies (for winter term), the faculty advisor for your concentration and/or advising College in getting the issue resolved.  Otherwise, please wait for Angela's return for assistance.

TO TAKE A COURSE AT ANOTHER INSTITUTION requires special permission. In order to determine whether or not a course will transfer over appropriately, you must submit a Permission to Enroll form.

For questions regarding TRANSFER CREDIT, please email transfercredit@umd.edu.

---- If you submitted a transcript from another institution and it has been received, but the credit has not been uploaded to your UMD transcript, please email
registrar-help@umd.edu

Concerns with your GRADUATION PLAN, such as course selections and substitutions, should be addressed with your assigned faculty advisor (if you have declared your concentration). For those who are “Undeclared” ENSP students, you can contact Angela. To make a graduation plan and declare your concentration, follow the steps outlined on our website.

---- However, most questions can be answered by navigating the ENSP website: ensp.umd.edu

If you were ACADEMICALLY DISMISSED, put on ACADEMIC PROBATION or have general questions about these procedures, contact the Student Success Office.  Email Angela if you need probation stamps to register for the next semester.

EXCEPTIONS TO ACADEMIC POLICY, such as a Late Add, Late Drop, Exceeding the Credit Limit, or a Time Conflict should be submitted to your advising College

For current undergraduates feeling anxiety, DISTRESS or having other emotional issues, please consider contacting the Counseling Center at 301-314-7651.

Specific COURSE CONCERNS (for example, a question about an exam or your final grade) should be taken up with your instructor.
