PEREC is hiring Field Interpreters who will actively engage middle school students in Chesapeake Bay related activities: collecting & identifying stream organisms, testing water quality, assessing biodiversity, watershed and habitat characteristics at Burke Lake, and Lake Accotink Creek in Springfield. Training is provided. Background checks required. 
 
Programs occur on school days, Monday - Friday beginning in early April – early May. Field Interpreters must have at least 1 week day available 8:30am -1:30pm. You must provide your own transportation to the parks. We hire every spring and fall. Undergrads $12/hour. Grads $15/hour. See attached flyer.
