U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee


The U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee is accepting resumes for their fall internship program. They are hoping to recruit an intern from the University of Maryland.

Fall internships last approximately ten-twenty weeks, dependent on the schedule of the intern. The internship includes a monthly stipend. Though no specific major or program is necessary, an interest in agriculture is required. Applicants who can work full-time are preferred, but part time applicants are encouraged as well. Recent graduates or students attaining advanced degrees are also welcome to apply.

Interns will have a unique opportunity to be involved in the operations of a congressional committee and the legislative process. Interns routinely assist with legislative research projects, hearings, other substantive assignments, and administrative tasks. Apply by August 17th by submitting resume to:
