Sophomore Representative for the ENSP Student Advisory Board
Are you a sophomore interested in working closely with ENSP faculty to plan events for your fellow ENSP majors and being a voice for your class within the department? Consider applying to be a sophomore representative on the ENSP Student Advisory Board!
This is a great leadership opportunity that will get you involved with the ENSP Program, AGNR, and other great departments and environmental groups on campus. You'll have an opportunity to orchestrate change and work on projects such as:
- Cleaning various areas on campus with the UMD Arboretum
- Volunteering at PG County Animal Services
- Interviewing outstanding ENSP students and writing articles for the ENSP webpage
- Moderating the ENSP faculty Q&A and ENSP alumni career panels
- Brainstorming and organizing other events for ENSP majors
PLEASE NOTE: This is a full year-long position and we expect your commitment to the Board for both Fall and Spring semesters! The position also has the potential to be extended into future semesters.
