New Spring 2019 Course
ARTH488G: Art and the Environment
A new undergraduate course, Art and the Environment will be offered this spring. One exciting change is that the course will meet at the University of Maryland Center for Art & Knowledge at the Phillips Collection in Washington DC (Friday afternoons). There, students will be able to engage in up-close, in-person study of paintings by Monet, van Gogh, O'Keeffe and others.
(We also expect to be able to reimburse students for metro fare or driving costs.)
