SUMMER POSITIONS (ENVIRONMENTAL)
12 - 15 Week Summer Student Technical Assistance Program
Location:
Field Positions based at the Health Services Building
3 Harry S. Truman Parkway
Annapolis, MD 21401
Nature of Work: Under the supervision of an Environmental Health Specialist, summer students will be hired to work in the Environmental Health Bureau. Duties include water sampling, data analysis and environmental health inspections. Students will be trained to perform these functions as well as other duties, such as computer data entry, paperwork and telephones. The positions require daily travel throughout the county. Students must have own vehicle.
Students will work 35-40 hours/week, for 12 - 15 weeks, from mid-May to August.
Salary Schedule: $ 11.85 - $13.04 per hour and mileage reimbursement
Who Can Apply: College students with an Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Biology or other science concentration are encouraged to apply.
