The third and final wave deadline for the Federal and Global Fellows Program application is due soon. This is a fabulous opportunity for students interested in public service, the federal government, gaining internship experience and much more!

UMD Global/Federal Fellows Internship Program- Apply Now!

One-year certificate program combining a fall seminar and a spring internship, both for college credit.

Program Includes:
· Your Choice of Nine Fall Seminar Courses (including Water Security and Global Health Challenges, Energy and Environmental policy, Science Diplomacy, Responses to Global Challenges, and many others!) all taught by expert practitioners and courses are mostly offered in the evenings.
· Spring Internship for College Credit at sites such as: World Resources Institute, Department of Agriculture, Climate Action Campaign, Chemonics International, National Institutes of Health, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Environmental Protection Agency, etc.
· Spring Internship credit available through our program (including Scholarship in Practice credit) or through your own major.
· Year round activities (visits to DC organizations, professional development workshops, one-on-one coaching, etc.)
· Earn transcript notation as a Federal or Global Fellow
· Join an engaged student cohort group and alumni network for life!
