Campus speaker and reception

Joenia Waixana will be speaking on campus on February 26th at 6:30pm in the Atrium of H.J. Patterson Hall. She is the first indigenous woman elected to the Brazilian congress and has been coordinating the resistance to the Bolsonaro attempts to weaken indigenous lands and environmental protection.
