Bill McKibben, climate activist, author, and founder of 350.org, will offer the opening remarks to a powerful keynote panel from leaders on the forefront of the climate fight in Maryland and Washington DC.

Panelists:
- Delegate Vaughn Stewart, District 19, Montgomery County, Maryland General Assembly
- Chris Hoagland, Climate Change Program Director, Maryland Department of the Environment
- Emily Frias, Maryland Grassroots Organizer, Chesapeake Climate Action Network
- Moderated by Candela Cerpa, SGA Director of Sustainability SSC at UMD UMD SGA's Sustainability Committee​ (and ENSP student!)​

Participants will then break out into smaller group discussions on topics including innovation, climate finance, and environmental justice. Stick around to unwind with a musical performance by Joe Garner.
