Spring 2020 Commencement

Students will have the opportunity to participate in TWO ceremonies:
  1. Campus-wide ceremony
  2. Individual College ceremony
Campus-wide Virtual Commencement Ceremony - 1:00 pm
The university will host a virtual commencement ceremony. Streamed live across multiple platforms, the ceremony will include remarks from Citrupa (Kat) Gopal '20, a biological sciences major, and an official commencement address from Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer '63. Degrees will be officially conferred during this ceremony. 

Individual Colleges and Schools - stay tuned for more information on this
Individual Colleges will also host their own virtual commencement ceremonies, featuring remarks from Deans and displaying the names of every graduate. 

Departments (GEOG, GVPT, etc) will NOT be having their own ceremonies.  There will only be individual College-level ceremonies.
