#ShutDownAcademia
Climate Justice Resources

On June 10, 2020, the University of Maryland, through their #UMDSolidarity initiative, supported the #ShutDownAcademia campaign:

"No research, no meetings, no classes, no business as usual. #ShutDownAcademia and #ShutDownSTEM is the time for white and non-Black People of Color to not only educate themselves, but to define a detailed plan of action to carry forward. Create short and long-term plans to do the work to eradicate racism and create a just, equitable and inclusive academia (or STEM field)."

Alongside campus leadership, the ENSP Program supports this initiative wholeheartedly and we hope that you had the opportunity to take the day to learn and reflect.

Below are some resources that may be of interest to ENSP students, specifically in regards to climate justice and environmental racism. We hope you will continue to read and educate yourselves on these important issues.

Continue to check back often as there will be updates and additions to the resources below.
