Apply today: AGNR Peer Mentor

The AGNR Academic Programs Office is looking to hire new Peer Mentors for the 2020/2021 academic year!   There are openings for ENSP students to apply!

Note: you must be in an AGNR-sponsored concentration to qualify  (Wildlife; Environmental Econ; Environment and Agriculture; and Soil, Water, Land Resources)

A little bit about the Peer Mentors: Our team is made up of current AGNR students who each represent one of our great majors/departments! Mentors report directly to the AGNR Academic Programs Office in Symons Hall and assist undergraduate students with everyday campus issues, advising, registration, and so much more. If you are interested in applying for this paid position, please review the following qualifications and complete the attached application:

Note: Given the changes to the Fall 2020 semester, Peer Mentoring will be made available online and in-person based on the availability of each worker so please do not let concern prevent you from applying!

Minimum Qualifications: 
a) has completed 30+ cumulative credits
b) has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
c) has been enrolled in an AGNR major for at least two semesters 
d) is currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in AGNR 
e) will not be graduating prior to December 2021
f) Is currently and actively engaged in one or more aspects of university life (study abroad, research, internships, organizations, athletics, etc)
