ENSP386 Internship Proposals: September 10 deadline

Got a Fall internship?  Want ENSP386 credit?  READ THIS!

The deadline to submit ENSP386 Proposals is September 10, 2020.

FIRST:  If you are planning to earn credit for an internship you are completing this Fall, please follow these instructions and visit THIS WEBPAGE carefully for all necessary instructions and documents.

In short, here's what you'll need to do:
  1. Secure an internship
  2. Identify a faculty member to serve as your Faculty Sponsor/Advisor
  3. Prepare your INTERNSHIP PROPOSAL - this includes the coversheet, academic/career objectives, description of work activities, proposed research topic with scholarly sources, work commitment, your resume, and the consent & release form.  You may use electronic signatures.
  4. Submit your proposal by emailing it to Ms. Angela Mazur-Gray:  Use “INTERNSHIP PROPOSAL – (Your Name)” in your Subject Heading and copy Angela on all messages.  If you cannot get signatures, ask your faculty advisor and site supervisor to e-mail me a statement saying that they have reviewed your proposal, approve it, and agree to be your supervisor. Angela will collate everything for final review.
  5. Once final approval is given, Angela will register you for ENSP386 and send e-mail confirmation.  The work for ENSP386 (research paper, recording hours work, reflection journal, etc.) will be completed during the Fall semester.

🚩  Please contact Angela Mazur-Gray in advance if you foresee a late proposal, e.g., your on-site supervisor is out of town so they can't review and approve your proposal; you'r  e still interviewing, you got an "auto-reply" from your faculty advisor indicating they're off-campus and away from e-mail, etc.

Proposals submitted later than two weeks into the start of the internship will be approved on a case-by-case basis only and approval is not guaranteed. Please include a carefully-prepared explanation of your situation together with your proposal.
