The University Career Center's popular Intern for a Day program has historically connected UMD students with alumni, parents, and employers for in-person job shadowing experiences to explore potential career fields.
For the fall 2020 semester, we are offering Intern for a Day Lite which will match UMD students with professionals working in a field of interest to conduct virtual informational interviews. "Hosts" can live and work anywhere nationally and internationally. This reimagined program takes the “cold calling” out of informational interviews and networking for students! Students will gain access to the orientation on Monday, October 5.
The last day to request access to the orientation is Friday, October 9.
