Undergraduate teaching assistant (U.T.A.) for wildlife and forestry courses

Ms. Shannon Pederson in ENST is hiring an ENST or ENSP undergraduate student to serve as an undergraduate teaching assistant (U.T.A.) for wildlife and forestry courses. It involves converting Flash files to HTML5 and mp4 files, updating course ELMS pages, updating google drives, online research, and moving and organizing course materials.

The job would require 10-20 hours per week during the months of June and July. Most tasks can be completed virtually while some will be on-campus therefore student must follow Return to Maryland guidelines. Student needs to have 1. reliable access to a computer with a Windows operating system (or be willing to download Windows OS from Terpware), 2. several GB of available hard drive space, and 3. high speed internet. Student needs to be able to lift 20 pounds. The student can apply for this position to count as ENSP386 (internship) or ENST499Y (Special Topics: College Teaching). This position is unpaid.
