Digital Marketing Intern - Center for Global Sustainability

 

Position Summary
The Digital Marketing position at CGS will assist the team in promoting the work of the Center and enhancing the Center’s online presence and reach through strong digital marketing strategies. The coordinator will report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage the website, including drafting of any announcements, commentary, research updates etc.
  • Work directly with researchers and faculty to translate important research for general audience consumption 
  • Assist with events, as needed, including drafting and sending invitations, crafting the online event page, and designing
  • Assist with development, production, and design coordination of reports and associated products
  • Provide assistance to the CGS team for other ad-hoc project needs
Required Qualifications
  • Junior level +
  • Working towards a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or related field, or with equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to identify key takeaways from research and publications to distill in concise, easy-to-understand messages 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Canva design
  • Experience in meeting tight deadlines and responding promptly in rapid-fire situations
  • Creativity and demonstrated interest in sustainability, climate change, energy, or other environmental topics
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
