Fall 2021 Internship and Volunteer Opportunities

MaryPIRG is a student-funded, student-directed public interest advocacy organization. Last year they helped pass Maryland's Hunger Free Campus Act and students with our Climate Coalition helped to author a bill to get all USM campuses to accelerate their carbon neutrality commitments.

This fall they’ll be working on campaigns to stop climate change, protect our public health, end hunger, make college more affordable, and more!

Their internships and volunteer positions provide students with the opportunity to learn about all the facets of running a public advocacy campaign, from organizing on the ground, to generating media attention, to working with elected officials.
