InstallNET (Bowie, MD) provides professional project management services for the installation of office furniture across the United States and Canada.
We are hiring 2-3 paid interns or co-ops to support our EcoServ Project Management team that is focused on projects that decommission commercial spaces with the goal of diverting 80% or more of the surplus furniture from the landfill. Interns will be responsible for recipient outreach by researching and vetting charitable organizations, maintaining project documents, updating all EcoServ metrics, providing information to vendors, subcontractors, and other project team members.
Essential Functions
Continual outreach/vetting of non-profit and community organizations throughout the nation/worldwide to educate them on our program and identify opportunities to support their organization.
Recipient outreach includes “matching” recipients with Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) assets to support landfill diversion for customers.
Maintain and update our recipient database (ie. Recipient profiles, their specific FF&E needs, contact info, etc.)
Participates in the buildout of a vendor network, across the nation and in Canada, to increase the capabilities of our EcoServ programs such as recycling, wood-chipping, and e-waste facilities.
Sustainability Advocacy
Identify creative ideas that share the success of EcoServ/rePurpose projects to both internal and external audience.
Educate and collaborate with customers to highlight the value created by the decommission program.
Generate emailed quotes and follow up on outstanding quotes for the team.
Properly set up jobs by requesting, updating, and attaching appropriate documents within the FacilityNET system, including BOM, floor plans, blueprints, as directed.
