Applications Open: 3 Full Time CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA Service Member Positions at UMD

Great opportunity for seniors!

Applications are now open for three Campus Compact Mid-Atlantic (CCMA) AmeriCorps VISTA service member positions to support the UMD Division of Student Affairs’ efforts to create a Hunger-Free UMD and meet the essential needs of students, with a focus on low-income and first generation college students. 

• The CCMA UMD Campus Food System Education Project will build capacity for the Campus Pantry Teaching Kitchen, Campus Community Gardens, and expand food literacy both on and off-campus. Apply here. 

• The CCMA University of Maryland Terp Farm Project builds capacity for produce gleaning to bring fresh foods to the Campus Pantry and other anti-hunger partners. Apply here. 

• The UMD First Generation Student Success Project will build capacity for First Generation Forward campus initiatives, to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy.
