The presentation, by Colleen Webster, is in recognition of the 60th anniversary of the publication of Silent Spring by Rachel Carson. Colleen portrays Rachel Carson and brings to life Carson’s research, personal life and legacy, and her connection to the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, now part of the Eastern Ecological Science Center at Patuxent Research Refuge. Light refreshments will be served.
