Climate Equity Fellowship Opportunity in the Northeast U.S.

We are seeking an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) Fellow for the USDA Northeast Climate Hub. ORISE works to recruit and prepare the next generation of our nation’s scientific workforce. The Northeast Climate Hub develops science-based, region-specific information and technologies, and shares products with natural resource managers to enable climate-informed decision-making.

This fellowship will offer the opportunity to collaborate with our team to further two outcomes: addressing critical climate equity questions, and contributing to the design of a graduate student network. This fellowship offers excellent experience and exposure to a federal career in climate change.  Applicants should have completed a master’s degree in the past 5 years. The stipend will be roughly equivalent to a federal GS-9 pay level. This position is fully remote with some travel required. See full details about this 19-month opportunity at: https://www.zintellect.com/Opportunity/Details/USDA-USFS-2023-0016          Application DeadlineFeb 10, 2023, 3pm ET
