Business Network for Offshore Wind IPF Scholarship Program

Each year, the Business Network for Offshore Wind hosts the International Partnering Forum (IPF), which is largest Offshore Wind energy conference in the United States. From one-on-one networking to sessions on the latest industry developments, IPF is dedicated to growing the offshore wind energy industry. The conference will be packed with cutting-edge educational programming, esteemed speaker faculty, an exhibit hall filled with global companies, networking opportunities and more.

This year is the 10th anniversary of IPF, and we are extremely excited to be hosting the event back where it all started a decade ago: Baltimore, Maryland. From March 28th-30th, industry experts from around the world converge to share best business practices, the most advanced technical and scientific findings, and policy updates impacting offshore wind. IPF connects global leaders and businesses in the supply chain, offers unparalleled networking opportunities, and delivers the most timely and relevant updates on the industry, from technology and policy to safety and siting.

The State of Maryland is sponsoring a scholarship package for students and professors interested in the offshore wind industry. The scholarship package not only includes IPF registration free of charge, but also includes registration to an online OSW Ready session as well as admission into the Central Atlantic Supplier Day.

The only requirement to be considered for the scholarship is to be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate program or currently employed as a professor, instructor, teacher, etc. at any public or private university, college, academy, or community college in the State of Maryland.

These three events are a fantastic introduction to the growing offshore wind industry. If any students or faculty are interested in participating, I encourage them to apply via the following link: APPLY HERE

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. If you have any questions, please reach out to Sam Tirone, Manager for Supply Chain Research at samt@offshorewindus.org or (410) 599-7757.
