The Department of Natural Resources, Maryland Park Service Headquarters located in Annapolis, MD, is currently accepting applications for one (1) seasonal contractual Interpretative Planning Assistant.
This 10-month position provides direct support to the Chief of Interpretation. The selected candidate will assist with ongoing and new MPS interpretive projects and programs including nature center exhibit development, topic research, and coordinating internal and external communication on interpretive programs and special events. Duties will also include development and organization of curriculum and displays for programming and outreach; producing newsletters, advertising, and social media; and graphic design and website development. This position will primarily work in the Annapolis area - MPS Headquarters Office but will be heavily involved with state-wide programs and initiatives and may require occasional travel throughout the state of Maryland.
