aid internships with the National Park Service in Washington, D.C., ideal for upcoming graduates and alumni interested in biology and field work.  

Appalachian Conservation Corps and the National Capital Region are hiring four interns for our Invasive Plant Management Team, which will help treat non-native plants in sites surrounding the National Capital Region with herbicide treatment, chainsaws, and hand tools. This 38-week position starts Feb. 12 and runs until Nov. 1. It’s open to young adults aged 18-30, or 35 if veteran, and we are seeking candidates within a commutable distance to the D.C. area.
