Study Abroad to Dominican Republic to Study Sustainable Agriculture

Sustainable Agriculture and Environment in Developing Countries is a combination of a 1 credit seminar class and a 2 credit study abroad class (ANSC 371, ANSC 372). This is an opportunity to obtain 3 credits toward the Sustainability Elective (social and human dimensions), Diversity: Cultural Competence, Scholarship in Practice, and upper level Animal Science elective.  I believe this class will provide a lot of knowledge of agriculture and a different perspective that isn’t readily available in traditional classes.

The Seminar course meets on Mondays at 4:00-5:30.  The Travel portion will be to Dominican Republic in January 7-21, 2024.  The first lecture will be September 9.
