What is the DoD SMART Program?
SMART is a combined educational and workforce development opportunity for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students. SMART scholars receive full tuition, annual stipends, and guaranteed employment with the DoD after graduation.
Who Can Apply: The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, 18 or older, have a 3.0 minimum GPA, able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, currently enrolled at a college or university or with previous college credit, and pursuing a degree in one of SMART’s 24 STEM disciplines.
