This upcoming Monday, November 18th, The Wildlife Society's student chapter at UMD will be hosting a Careers in Wildlife Talk. The event will be held in the animal science building, in the room ANSC0412, at 6 pm. We will be joined by Dr. Mullinax and Sam Denenberg, a wildlife biologist from the USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center. Some topics we will be covering include how graduate school operates in the wildlife field and the expectations of a wildlife graduate student, career paths in wildlife at the local and federal levels, and more. This event will be a great opportunity for students interested in a future career in wildlife to gain insight into the field and develop a better understanding of what to expect post-graduation. All details for the event are listed in the flyer below. We hope to see you there!
