The Washington Program at the Institute for Responsible Citizenship continuing their search for the nation’s most talented African American male sophomores and are looking for exceptional students at Maryland who could benefit from this opportunity.
The Washington Program at the Institute for Responsible Citizenship offers:
- Two paid summer internships (or a $5,000 stipend) in their field of interest
- Free campus housing at George Washington University
- Private briefings with influential leaders across public and private sectors
- Professional and leadership development workshops
- Academic seminars on constitutional and economic principles
- A $20,000 investment, accessible in ten years, upon successful completion of the two summers
- Membership into an alumni network of 270+ men making an impact in their communities and beyond
We admit only 12 students each year, and we’re currently reviewing applications on a rolling basis. Strong candidates are encouraged to apply early. Our final application deadline is January 15, 2025—just one month away.
