The Appalachian Trail Conservancy has an upcoming opportunity for young adults, ages 18-30, that we would love for you to share with your organization and networks. We are looking for passionate & diverse emerging leaders eager to expand skills and stewardship for the outdoors through connection, action, and expression.
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy is hosting an Emerging Leaders' Summit on October 10-12th at the New Jersey School of Conservation.
The 2025 Emerging Leaders' Summit (ELS) offers participants trainings, workshops, and outdoor experiences with a focus on building skills and community through the lens of the Appalachian Trail. To commemorate ATC's centennial celebration, participants will also learn the history of the past century and how to forge a future for the next century & generation of young leaders. The Summit is free for all participants and travel scholarships are available. No outdoor experience is required, however a commitment to learning and interest in the Appalachian Trail is expected.
Applications received by July 31st will be prioritized & applicants will be notified in mid-August. For more information and to apply, click here: https://appalachiantrail.org/ els
