Student Research Assistant position
Sustainable disease management in greenhouse and nursery crops
Do you like working with plants? Working outdoors? Are you interested in water recycling and reuse? Plant health? Fungi?
Start Date: Flexible, summer and fall
Hours/week: Flexible, 10-12 hours/week
Pay scale: $12/hour
Responsibilities:
· Assist with monitoring water quality and plant health in nurseries
· Prepare sampling materials and media
· Learn and help with laboratory and greenhouse work
Minimum Qualifications
· Some coursework in biological sciences
· Possess a valid Maryland driver’s license
· Willingness to conduct field work
· Ability to work at least three hours at a time
