What You'll Do
As an Environmental Scientist, you are smart, strong, and have a “roll up your sleeves” attitude towards your work. You have a passion for the environment and are extremely detail-oriented when conducting your evaluations and assessments. You have great communication skills and are easily able to interact with your team and clients. You are comfortable both out on the field as well as in the office setting writing reports. You get the “big” picture and want to contribute accordingly – and that’s why you’ll have all the opportunity for career growth within our company you’ll want.
You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
Environmental site assessments
Groundwater and soil investigations
Hydrogeologic studies
Remediation system installation, operation, and maintenance
Industrial hygiene services including asbestos, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality assessments Underground storage tank assessments
Preparing reports and proposals, interfacing with clients, and project budget management
What We're Looking For
BS in Geology or a discipline related to Environmental Science
0-2 years of Geology, Environmental Engineering or related experience
Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) license would go a long way
Some serious GRIT and have no problem liing/carrying 40 – 100 lbs. mulple mes a day
