17 for Peace & Justice is UMD's only student-run environmental justice (EJ) org. We cover a variety of EJ topics in our weekly meetings and engage in activism, lobbying, research, and education in our four subcommittees! Please join us every Tuesday at 7pm (ASY3219). You can also connect via Instagram and GroupMe (Linktree below).
Below are two upcoming events to attend!
---------------
On Tuesday, February 10th, we will explore and discuss the actual 17 principles of environmental justice. Subcommittees will also have time to share updates and progress with the group. Come and learn about the framework that gives our club its name and motivates the work we do. We hope to see you there!
