TUgis - GIS Conference, Call for Proposals

 

The TUgis Call for Proposals is now open, with submissions due April 20, 2026: https://tugisconference.com/get-involved/

 

We welcome proposals in a variety of formats, including:
• Posters & Maps
• Lightning Talks (7 minutes)
• Presentations (20 minutes)
• Panels / Working Groups (45 minutes)
• Sponsored Presentations (25 minutes)

 

Presentations are encouraged across a broad range of topics—from community and industry applications to infrastructure, data and technology, field innovations, and science and career development.

Each year, TUgis brings together hundreds of GIS professionals from across Maryland, representing higher education, non-profits, local and state government, and the private sector. The conference also includes an exhibit hall with more than 40 booths highlighting innovative geospatial work across the region. Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a returning presenter, TUgis offers practical insights, meaningful connections, and fresh ideas.
