Environment for the Americas is hiring for a Community Outreach Intern at Greenbelt Park in Maryland!
Environment for the Americas offers internship opportunities to college students, graduate students, others between the ages of 18 and 30, and veterans up to age 35. We partner with several federal agencies and place participants in experiences at national parks, national forests, protected areas, and military installations.
The internship begins May 25, 2026 – August 10, 2026 (11 weeks) and is compensated at $688 per week. The intern will learn the park’s natural and cultural stories through observation and training with staff. They will develop and deliver interpretive programs highlighting local history, stewardship, and America 250 themes.
