The Maryland Farmland Raptor Program is currently looking for interns to assist with the Barn Owl and Kestrel nesting programs that we run during the spring and summer.
The interns would be assisting with nest box monitoring, banding of the chicks and adults and collecting morphological data. Additionally, they will be responsible for completing data entry. We manage nearly 200 Barn Owl boxes and 150 Kestrel boxes throughout the State.
- Dates and Location: May through August, Various locations statewide
- Must have transportation
- Work is mostly outdoors on farmlands
- Must feel comfortable with climbing a ladder.
