Please join us in congratulating ENSP Environmental Politics and Policy students Khushi Desai and Leila Vergara, who have been awarded the 2026 NOAA Hollings Scholarship!
This award carries two years of financial support at $9500 annually. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship is one of the nation’s highest honors for exceptional students in STEM fields. The scholarship provides financial support, professional development opportunities and a paid summer internship at any NOAA facility across the U.S.
UMD has (at least) seven known NOAA Hollings Scholars for 2026! This is UMD's 2nd highest total ever.
