Climate policy interns and fellowships at CCAN

 


We are looking for students, recent graduates, and young people in DC, Maryland, and Virginia who are interested in gaining experience in the climate movement.

Chesapeake Climate Action Network is accepting applications for policy intern- and fellowships in January through April 2027.

Climate Justice Policy Fellows will work with our state teams to learn about and support policy advocacy during the legislative sessions in Virginia and Maryland. Fellows will help research and track legislation, write reports and talking points, and attend hearings and meetings at the state capital. The Federal Climate Policy intern will work on federal policy advocacy, including our campaign to fund responsible research into climate interventions. The intern and fellows will start around January 11, 2027, and work 10-20 hours per week for ten weeks. These positions are paid $25 per hour
