Check out this opportunity to expand your education internationally! We hope you’ll join us in BRAZIL over Spring Break 2027 for AGST/ANSC 470 — a 3-credit exploration of global agrifood and natural resource systems.
Through visits to farms, universities, Rio de Janeiro, and local communities, you’ll experience Brazil’s agriculture, environment, and culture firsthand.

Important Upcoming Dates:
- September 30, 2026: Application deadline
- October 1–7: Application review
- October 8: Official admission decisions
- October 19: Deadline for accepted students to commit

Making study abroad affordable — Financial aid and scholarships can help reduce your cost:
- Financial aid: Learn how your existing aid may be used for study abroad.
- Education Abroad scholarships: Submit the scholarship application with your program application. One application considers you for all Education Abroad funding sources for which you are eligible. You can also review Education Abroad and external funding opportunities.
- Gilman Guarantee: Pell-eligible students who apply for the Gilman Scholarship and work with the National Scholarships Office are guaranteed at least $500 from Education Abroad, regardless of the Gilman decision. You can also register for a Gilman Writing Session.
- Refunds and withdrawals: Review the financial commitment before deciding whether to join the program.
