We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill an internship position in the Office of Energy and Environment within the Department of Strategy, Planning & Performance. Ideal candidates will have an interest in environmental management, resilience, and energy. They should have abilities in research, communication, and data analysis. Time management and computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based communications are a must. Experience as a transit rider is a plus!
The intern will support the Office of Energy and Environment programs through energy/utility data analysis, energy & environmental policy research, presentation and document formatting and development, data visualization, event planning, and newsletter and meeting support. The intern will gain exposure across a wide range of projects in energy efficiency, environmental stewardship, and resilience. Come help make Metro the most efficient way to travel around the National Capital Region and contribute to Metro’s dynamic Energy and Environment office!
