Sustainability Fund Review Committee - Student Opportunity

The Sustainability Fund Review Committee assesses applications for Sustainability Fund Grants and recommends projects for funding to the University Sustainability Council. The Committee is currently looking for a well-rounded group of undergraduates who can commit to weekly meetings from October-December and February-April to review grant requests. Applications to apply to the Committee are due by 11:59pm on September 13th. This would be a great opportunity for students to make meaningful and significant contributions to university sustainability policies, projects, and programs that could have an extended lifetime past the students’ time at the University of Maryland. It is also an opportunity to get experience assessing, critiquing, and evaluating proposed policies and programs.  Please reach out to Sabrina LaBold at slabold@umd.edu if you have any questions.

AFA Leaders Conference: Applications Close Sept 7

Apply to the  Agriculture Future of America (AFA) Leaders Conference ! This year's conference is being held in Kansas City, Missouri, November 10-13. The application closes September 7, and we're hoping for some great AGNR representation! This is an amazing opportunity for students to develop their professional and leadership skills and connect with fellow students and professionals leading the industry. Historically, AGNR has had a handful of students selected to participate and we're hoping to continue that this year. NACE Youth Weekend Ambassador Crew Leader
