ENSP386 and Spring 2020 At this time, if you are enrolled in ENSP386, you should reach out to your site supervisors regarding your options for continuing your internship. We understand some workplaces will be conducting business as usual, while others will be moving to remote, and some may be ending their internship programs.  I also want to let you know that ENSP will not penalize you if you are unable to meet the 120 credit on-site requirement.  First thing you should do: contact your supervisors and discuss how the nature of your internship is changing, if at all.  Here are a few options/points of discussion you should consider having with your site supervisor and ENSP386 faculty advisor: Remote work can count the same as in-person work for the rest of the semester, with your supervisor’s approval. I encourage you to share the official University announcements from President Loh for specifics.  Have a discussion with your supervisor about the possibility of con

Therefore, all ENSP advising appointments for Fall 2020 registration will be handled remotely. This means we need to transition our mandatory advising appointments to an online format. Below you will find information regarding ENSP advising; please read it carefully. FOR THOSE WHO ARE “UNDECLARED” IN ENSP: If you ALREADY HAVE an advising appointment scheduled with me, you have two options: We can still acknowledge the date/time, however rather than meeting in my office, we will meet online or via phone. Advising for ENSP Land Use, Marine & Coastal, and Global Environmental Change  Your advising (and removing of registration blocks) will take place remotely with the GEOG department.   Please follow the instructions listed here: https://geog.umd.edu/ undergraduate/hours-and- contact   As you'll see, most advising will take place via email, but if you want a  Zoom or WebEx meeting please indicate that in your email.  GEOG will waive the requirement to meet with your faculty advisor (so you don't need the faculty advising sheet).  You can certainly reach out to them via email to discuss careers, research etc, but the GEOG Advising Office will remove your block without that meeting occurring if necessary (after you send a list of courses).
