December 2018 Grad Fair December Grads,  Join the Unviersity Book Center on October 10th for GRAD FAIR. This is where you will be able to order your regalia for the commencement ceremony! You'll also be able to order class rings, diploma frames, graduation announcements, etc. Please try to order on this day so the Book Center can guarantee you will have the correct size and style for the big day. Mental Health Awareness Week October 8-12, 2018   The Counseling Center will be hosting their annual weeklong program of events designed to get students engaged in reducing stigma and understanding and improving mental health! Agricultural Pest Management Paid Internship The University of Maryland Department of Entomology is seeking motivated undergraduates with an interest in agricultural pest management for paid fellowship positions. Fellows will have the opportunity to interact and share their experiences with student fellows at seven other universities, work with farmers, conduct independent research, present their research at professional conferences and receive class credit as part of their participation. Fellows must be able to commit a minimum of three semesters and one full summer to the program. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact both Drs. UMD Sustainability Fund Review Committee Undergraduate Student Application 2018-2019 Despite the passing deadline, applications (as of 9/18/19) are STILL being accepted from undergraduate students who want to serve on the Sustainability Fund Review Committee. As per the University's Sustainability Council Bylaws, the Sustainability Fund Review Committee is responsible for selecting and recommending projects to be funded by the University Sustainability Fund. The Bartlett Tree Foundation At-Large Scholarship – Spring Semester 2019   The Bartlett Tree Foundation is continuing to offer our at-large scholarships for the upcoming spring semester. This year The Foundation will be offering two at-large scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each.
